We make the highest quality pepper grillers/cookers available in the marketplace. ALL of our products are made with stainless steel.

THE BASIC DIFFERENCE IN METALS COMMONLY USED IN MAKING PRODUCTS OF THIS DESCRIPTION:

Carbon Steel:

Carbon Steel is a porous metal, which we liken to cast iron; except it is "steel" instead of "iron". The "common denominator" is that both iron and carbon steel are porous. Thus, carbon steel should be "cured", i.e., "seasoned" like a cast iron skillet in order to prevent rusting. Notice we say "prevent", not "guarantee". Just because you season cast iron or carbon steel does not guarantee it won't rust. Carbon steel also should not be washed with soap and water or in a dishwasher or exposed to water in any way. Other methods to clean it are recommended. Carbon steel should never be left outdoors thus exposing it to air moisture and/or rain. Such exposure will definitely cause it to rust.

Stainless Steel:

Stainless steel is a synthetic metal which does not require "curing", i. e., "seasoning" and can be washed by hand with soap and water or in a dishwasher without risk of causing it to rust.

Although we DO NOT make anything but stainless steel products, we provide care and maintenance recommendations for both types of metal. Regardless of where you purchase a pepper griller, reading the documentation that accompanies your purchase or reviewing the documentation available here on our website before you make your purchase is recommended. Our pepper griller products will not warp from normal cooking temperatures. Cooking AND assembly instructions are also included with any griller purchased from us and are also available for review on our website.
